Last Sunday afternoon we drove to New Buffalo, Michigan and I got to wade in Lake Michigan. It was beautiful and the waves were very fun! We watched a storm come in -- it was very warm and sunny when we first got there and then, just as we left, a cold breeze came in over the water.

I got to climb a sand dune! That was fun, and the view from the top was beautiful. I love being on top of things. And I brought home some treasures:

Who can resist cool rocks? They are so neat -- lots of different colors, and they are sedimentary because they have clear layers. And the lake washes away different layers at different times. A bunch of the rocks are about a 16th of an inch thin, so I plan to use them in scrapbooking. :-)
I'll post more soon, but right now I'm getting ready to meet a friend for a bike ride.
